Tummy Tuck - Abdominoplasty
Excessive weight loss after a laparoscopic bariatric operation results in loosening and excess skin in the abdominal area.
The solution to this problem is abdominoplasty or tummy tuck surgery. In this operation we will stretch the abdominal skin, strengthen and tighten the abdominal wall and remove the excessive skin.
If there is need only for a small correction (mini abdominoplasty) we do not need to transfer the navel, but in classic abdominoplasty the navel is transferred to its proper location after the stretching of the skin downwards.

The result is impressive and patient satisfaction is great.
Abdominoplasty or tummy tuck surgery is performed under general anesthesia at an organized clinic and hospitalization usually lasts 1-2 days. A special elastic band is applied for 3 weeks after the operation which the patient wears day and night.

For the first 3-4 days the patient should sleep with the back slightly elevated.
At home, the patient can only walk for a while and gradually increase the walking time. Any work and weightlifting should be avoided for at least 2 weeks and the gym for 3 weeks. Return to work is possible within 1-2 weeks after surgery.
